Libby was born September 28th, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio, the fifth of eight children. She first felt the joy and power of her own voice and music at the age of six and soon after began singing in several church choirs for the next eight years and continued singing throughout her school years under the guidance of various vocal teachers. Growing up in a such large family she was exposed to many styles of music and as a young teen experienced dozens of live concerts in Ohio. Libby began singing professionally at age fifteen and at twenty-one headed west to northern California to perform and record various styles of music with a number of local musicians. In 1984 Libby first visited Hawaii, thanks to family already living there and for nearly a decade called Maui home, often sitting in with many of Maui's local musicians and during a 5-year stint as a very successful wedding coordinator, she performed at hundreds of weddings.

In 1994 Libby continued travelling between Maui and California and while visiting Sonoma County, Libby's dynamic & soulful voice, charismatic personality (and the need to survive) led her to a singing waitress gig at Samba Java in Healdsburg and on the Wine/Dine Train, "The Silver Lariat" from Healdsburg to Willits.

In 2000 Libby teamed up with Frankie J., whose musical genius, dynamic personality and voice, when combined together with hers creates a magical presence to her sultry voice. It's easy to see why Frankie J. & Libby have become so popular to a very broad audience. The quality and variety of their music is very inviting.

Currently Libby is writing material for her next c.d. to be produced by Frankie J. and in 2003 recorded a demo C.D. Frankie J. & Libby are also writing originals to be recorded soon.

Libby aspires to continue growing spiritually and musically, to inspire others to believe in themselves, live their dreams, know their own greatness, be in the moment, have fun and to always trust in self.
